Alia Bhatt Starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi Trailer Shocks Viewers


Gangubai Kathiawadi has been on the front news for a few months because of its selection in the Berlin International film festival. Also, it’s one of the most anticipated films in 2022. As soon as the trailer came out on Friday it set the stage on fire. Alia Bhatt with her unique appearance shocks every fan around the country. 

This is Alia’s first collaboration with Sanja Leela Bhansali. Though there was another film with him featuring Salman Khan also, it got postponed. The trailer has some deadly and humorous dialogues from Alia Bhatt’s mouth. It increases the interest in the audience. Alia Bhatt has also thanked her fans for showering love on the trailer. 


Gangubai Kathiawadi is not just an entertaining film but it explores the right of a woman. It shows a sex worker’s rising from a prostitute to a political leader. The trailer shows Gangubai is fighting for the rights of sex workers and their families. She talks about children’s educational rights.     

Truly, it’s a piece of an inspirational topic. Gangabai who at an early age was pushed into prostitution became one of the most respected leaders of Kamathipura. It also stars Ajay Devgn as Karim Lala. Though they are working in RRR also, Gangubai is the first that is going to be released before RRR. There are Jim Sarbh, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Indira Tiwari, and others.

Alia Bhatt, as usual, looks promising with her appearance in the trailer. It already crossed over 20 million views. With energetic background music, the trailer already makes us realize the women’s empowerment in the country which was at a time was suppressed. Here is the trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi. 

Not just her fans, all the industry professionals are shouting for Gangubai on social media. The film is an adaptation of Hussain Zaidi’s “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”. It’s a depiction of 1960s Kamathipura. The film will release in the theatre on 25th February.
