Melanie Olmstead was the location and transportation manager in Yellowstone. Due to her passionate love for animals, she got a contract in this Yellowstone. The production team hired her because of her extensive knowledge of ranching and conservation. With almost 20 years of experience, she was the right choice for Yellowstone.
She died in May 2019 just before the release of Yeollowtsone season 2. Her connection with horses, conservation, and ranches dates back to her childhood. Everyone from Yellowstone paid special tribute to this free-spirited lady. She was 50 when she died.
She was born in 1968 in a wonderful place in Utah. There’s not much information about her biological parents. We know only Reid Howard and Janet Corbridge raised her. On her social media profiles, she shared her affection for horses.
Before joining the Hollywood industry, she was a part of African Women’s education initiatives. Some of her known projects are Hereditary, Frozen, John Carter, and Point Break.
