Some theatres, schools, and colleges have already been under the shutdown phase. In this situation, the filmmakers have decided to postpone the RRR release date, one of the most anticipated and star-studded films.
The film was supposed to release on 7th January 2022. But seeing the rapid rising of Covid cases, the filmmakers have again delayed the RRR release date. With a stellar cast, the film has been a buzz in the entertainment industry, especially the South Indian film industry. The film postpones its release date due to closing theatres across the country.
RRR star casts will amaze you with some prominent actors from Bollywood as well as the South film industry. It stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, and many more. Jayantilal Gada (PEN) will serve as the distributor across North India. The excitement around the country comes to a halt.
With the official statement on Twitter, the filmmakers have assured to release it very soon after the Covid situation gets better.
The statement said, “In spite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theatres, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on to your excitement. We promised to bring back The Glory of Indian Cinema, and at the right time, WE WILL.”
It adds, “Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love. #RRRPostponed #RRRMovie.”
RRR explores the journey of two freedom fighters in pre-independent India. It’s a fictitious story that documents the two legendary revolutionaries’ struggle. The film has been delayed for a long time. It was first supposed to release on 30th July 2020. Then it was delayed with an expected date of release on 13th October 2021.
Due to Covid cases and injury of Ram Charan and Jr. NTR have delayed the movie for so long. Now again, the fans will see another postponement of the movie. Some other films like Pushpa may face a worse situation in the box office collection due to closing theatres around the country.
